Kelly Hu

Born in Hawaii, Kelly Hu has Chinese and English ancestry. She was the first Asian American to be crowned Miss Teen USA (1985) and is a former Miss Hawaii USA (1993). She modelled in Japan and Italy before returning to North America to try her hand at acting.

Kelly debuted on the TV series "Growing Pains" (1985) and has since appeared in nearly 20 television guest spots. Her feature film career spans titles such as "The Doors" (1991), "Strange Days" (1995) and "The Scorpion King" (2001).
